A reality in workplace now a days. Well done that you took up this topic. Beautifully written and a lesson for all those who prefer to sit quiet on such issues.

Oh my!! Smita this is is unbelievably heart felt. I had goosebumps while reading it and really wanted to smack this guy HARD!!!
I have had my share of harassment in work space and it would always make me feel so powerless and weak – I could never have the equanimity of handling it and ended up quitting those jobs.
Well written Smita!!

Well done! I love that you included the second woman thanking her at the end. These behaviors and those like them occur too frequently.

so well written , i like how she gave back to vivek . also its much better to stand up and say STOP for the every first time you feel odd. after all its your right to speech. i understand its tough but its also shows your personality that you wont take any shit.

Horrifying and scary .Good of her to stand up.Its strange that we hardly have support for such issues at workplaces. Nicely woven story

Once you work well people think they can say anything and we would be suppressed because we need work. It takes a strong mind to stand up against it. Kudos to her.
