U for Uniform; #AtoZChallenge

Urvashi had been working hard for 6 years now and she had been left far behind than Aditya. But she was sure she deserved her success this time. As she opened the appraisal letter she was glad to see that her hard work was finally rewarded.

The story has been published as part of my book available on Amazon

  1. Great write! It frustrates me that such an income disparity exists between the two genders although both put in the same about of work. You highlighted this beautifully. And I am glad she took the plunge and came out her own boss.

    1. Thanks Aditi, being in the field 10 years now, i have felt this first hand. The disparity is so ingrained that women often themselves don’t think they deserve the same pay. And are afraid to ask for it too. The same is with leadership roles, very few women are up there, unless and until you decide to be your own boss. And this is true even today. So glad you liked the story. Thanks a ton šŸ˜Š
