What’ll happen when Vikram’s parents find out that he got married without their consent?

    1. Thanks am so glad you like the story, yes sadly this is one problem which we havenot been able to eradicate as a country as yet. It is an evil and it is there is some traditions yet. I feel blessed too that I was born in a family and culture that does not practise these traditions, but my heart bleeds when I hear stories of these around me . Do read my next story on child abuse https://smitasangle.wordpress.com/2017/04/09/c-is-for-cat-a-story-on-child-abuse-atozchallenge/

  6. It is so important for men to take a stand too against the ingrained Dowry system in India. ‘Custom’ ‘ tradition’ has been an excuse far too long, for all the wrongs in our society.
    Great write!
